What is a Telstra PIN?
A Telstra PIN is a 4-digit number like the banking PIN you use to authorise payments with your credit or debit card. You can set up and choose your own 4-digit Telstra PIN in My Telstra.
Why do I need a Telstra PIN?
Your Telstra PIN is another layer of security to help protect your personal information when you access or make changes to your account. It’s part of our multi-factor authentication that helps prevent unauthorised access of your personal details.
How do l set up a Telstra PIN?
To set up a Telstra PIN, simply register or sign in to My Telstra
- In the top right-hand corner, go to Profile
- Select Security settings and then Telstra PIN
- Follow the prompts to set up your PIN
How do l update or reset my Telstra PIN?
If you know your existing Telstra PIN and want to change it
- Sign in to My Telstra
- In the top right-hand corner, go to Profile
- Select Security settings and then Telstra PIN
- Go to Update PIN
- Follow the prompts to change your PIN
If you’ve forgotten your existing Telstra PIN and need to reset it
- Sign in to My Telstra
- In the top right-hand corner, go to Profile
- Select Security settings and then Telstra PIN
- Go to Update PIN, then Reset PIN
- Follow the prompts to reset your PIN
