Pre-Paid Complete is an everyday value plan with calls, texts and data included with each recharge. If you’re on an older plan, you can continue to remain on your current plan. If you decide to switch to Pre-Paid Complete, you won’t be able to switch back to your old plan if it’s no longer available to new customers. You can only switch between Pre-Paid Complete and our other current plans.

If you’re currently on Pre-Paid Complete, you’ll automatically receive the new inclusions on your next recharge. You don't have to do anything to receive them. If your current plan isn't Pre-Paid Complete, you'll need to change to Pre-Paid Complete first.

Before changing to this plan, you should first compare it to your current one, including expiry periods, as these may differ.

Important: If you change plans, you may lose unused portions of your current plan. So, if you’ve got unused credits for calls, texts and data, it’s best to use them up before changing plans.

If you change from plans that are compatible with Telstra Pre-Paid Complete, you won’t lose any inclusions. Compatible plans include:

  • Pre-Paid Max
  • Pre-Paid Extra
  • Pre-Paid Plus
  • Freedom Plus

You’ll need to recharge to get the benefits of Pre-Paid Complete.

  • Data Bank lets you save up to 200GB of unused data when you recharge before expiry. To save data, simply recharge $10+ before expiry. Any leftover data is saved into your Data Bank to use for later. Your Data Bank is capped at 200GB, so any data that goes over this limit will not be saved.

    You’ll automatically start using your Data Bank once the data included with your current recharge is used up. If you let your recharge expire, your Data Bank will remain saved on your account. Just recharge again on Pre-Paid Complete and you can access your Data Bank. Your Data Bank data won’t expire unless you change plans, or your pre-paid service is deactivated.

  • You can save up to 200GB of the following data in your Data Bank:

    • Unused data from your recharge inclusions
    • Pack data that you purchased with your recharge credit.
  • To keep track of your balance, inclusions, and Data Bank, you can: 

  • You won’t lose your unused data as you still have until the expiry date of the previous recharge to use it. You need to keep recharging $10 or more for data to be saved in your Data Bank.

  • Extra Credit is an included credit that can be used on international calls and texts, roaming and premium SMS.

  • When you recharge $30 or more on Pre-Paid Complete, you’ll get included standard international call minutes to 50 selected destinations in both zone 1 and zone 2. Included call minutes depend on the amount you recharge. View the Pre-Paid Complete plan inclusions for more information.

    Zone 1 

    Canada, China, Denmark, Germany, Guam, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Puerto Rico, Romania, Singapore, South Korea, UK, USA, Vietnam.   

    Zone 2 

    Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, Cambodia, Chile, Columbia, Iceland, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, France, Iran, Israel, Kenya, Kuwait, Mexico, Nepal, Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Peru, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates. 

     

    Your Extra Credit can be used to send international texts charged at 20c per text. It can also be used on calls to destinations not included in the ones above. View the full international call and text rates.

  • To buy a Plus Pack, you need to have recharge credit. Only $5 or $20 recharges will give you this credit on Pre-Paid Complete. Your recharge credit can then be traded in for a Data Plus Pack or International Roaming Browse Plus Pack. You can buy Plus Packs through:

    You’ll need to recharge a combination of $20 and $5 recharges to get the recharge credit balance needed to purchase an International Roaming Browse Plus Pack.

  • No, you won’t be able to purchase content from Google Play using the Extra Credit included on this plan.
