How do I sync my email contacts and calendar to my device?
This article gives you step by step instructions to sync your email contacts and calendar on your phone, tablet and smart watch. It covers iPhone, iPad and Android devices.
For iPhone and iPad
To sync contacts:
- Open Settings, then select Mail then Contacts then Calendars
- Select Add Account, then select Other
- Select Add CardDAV Account
- For Server enter: contacts.telstra.com
- For Username enter your Telstra email address
- Forgotten your username?
- For Password enter your case-sensitive password.
- Forgotten your password?
- Select Next.
Good to know
To see if your device has synced, check if the email contacts have updated.
To sync calendar:
- Open Settings, then select Mail then Contacts then Calendars
- Select Add Account, then select Other
- Select Add CalDAV Account
- For Server enter: calendar.telstra.com
- For Username enter your Telstra email address.
- Forgotten your username?
- For Password enter your case-sensitive password.
- Forgotten your password?
- Select Next.
Good to know
To see if your device has synced, open your calendar app and check if your events have updated.
For Android Devices
Android devices don’t include an app for syncing calendars or contacts application.
- You can download a syncing app for Android from the Google Play store
- Just search for CalDAV or CardDAV apps.
To sync contacts and calendar
You’ll need to enter the following information when you’re setting up the syncing app:
- For ‘CalDAV server’ enter: calendar.telstra.com
- For ‘CardDAV server’ enter: contacts.telstra.com
